Aeris Körper Contemporary Dance is honoured to join teams with Dreamwalker to bring Body Space Creation Place to the community. Aeris Körper believes that connection, the energy that exists between us when we are seen, heard and understood, is of the utmost importance and why BSCP is such a necessary practice for promoting wellness in our community.

It is our intent that everyone feels invited, wanted, and welcomed to participate in our events and activities. We continue to do the work to learn, unlearn, and relearn in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. We stand in solidarity with Black communities, Indigenous communities, people of colour, and with 2SLGBTQQIA communities. We aim to be part of the forward movement to create a supportive and safe world that is equitable for all of us. In light of this, as you engage with us, with our events, activities and our work, we will continue to ask for your feedback.

Body Space Creation Place (BSCP) was originally designed for Burlington Performing Arts Centre (2016). This current iteration, BSCP online, is being adapted by Dreamwalker with contributions from project manager Lisa Emmons and facilitating artists Megan English, Lisa Emmons, Shannon Kitchings, Mayumi Lashbrook, Kate Lowe, and BSCP trainees Yonah Lavery-Yisraeli, Hemantika Mahesh, Heryka Miranda, and Semiah Smith. BSCP is a Dreamwalker community engagement initiative that emerges from dance artist Andrea Nann
