Landscapes of Sensations: Movement Explorations in Dreamwalker’s Conscious Bodies Practice
Graphic by Sid Ryan Eilers
TOMORROW! Dreamwalkers Sid Ryan Eilers and Kelsi James will be co-facilitating Conscious Bodies Practice in Vancouver, this Saturday July 13th! All are welcome ❤️
🗓️ Saturday, July 13th
🕗 1:30-3:30pm PDT
📍 Morrow, 910 Richards Street, Vancouver
💸 Sliding scale, suggested $25.00
Join us for an immersive workshop facilitated by Sid Ryan Eilers (they/them) and Kelsi James (she/they). Dive into the rich internal landscapes of sensations and transform these experiences into expressive movements. Engage in collaborative movement, image-capturing, writing, sound-based, and relationship-building activities to create and express both individually and in relation to others.
This workshop is designed for all movers, with a special welcome to the Queer, Gender Non-Conforming, and Trans community, as well as professional performers. We focus on embodiment, curiosity, and creativity, exploring how internal sensations can lead to powerful outer expressions.

Toronto/Taipei Interlink: Workshops
An adelheid & Dreamwalker Dance Company co-presentation with support from SummerWorks, the Citadel and the Taipei Cultural Center in New York
Design by mimnagh.ca
For over 3 years members of Toronto/Taipei Interlink (Michael Caldwell, Andrea Nann, and Heidi Strauss from Toronto; WuKang Chen, Wen Huang, Fangas Nayaw, and PinWen Su from Taipei) have been deeply immersed in a long term monthly artistic exchange. In 2023 we engaged in two cultural exchange residencies (Toronto Aug 2023 & Taiwan Oct 2024). Across diverse geographies and long distances, we have been exploring various platforms and modalities for digital and in-person connection, as tools for communication, and most importantly as creative mediums for generating embodied exchange experiences.
We are thrilled to welcome our Taiwanese colleagues back to Tkarón:to in August with wonderful practices to share! We hope you will join us for these workshops and for their performances during SummerWorks 2024!
August 3rd – WuKang Chen
August 9th – Fangas Nayaw + I-Fen Tung
August 10th – PinWen Su
This project is supported by the Taipei Cultural Center in New York.

What if the most important call to action right now is to Stop. Rest. and Offer our nervous systems some time to recalibrate? Could we gather our selves together and step into a new paradigm of being, breathing and resting for a while? Could we set aside time for meandering, for noticing connections, and begin illuminating a sense of interbeing as the living world?
We have all been through a lot the last few years and many of us are very tired.
Wild Soma is Julia Aplin, Shannon Litzenberger, Andrea Nann and Roula Said. In this roving outdoor experience, inspired by this time of social change and interconnection, Wild Soma aims to position the body as self, in reciprocal relationships to social, cultural, temporal and planetary ecosystems. Neighbourhood Rest Stop participatory invitations may involve things like: Sitting with Trees, Branch Balancing, Labyrinth Walking, Snacking, Napping and Doing Nothing.
Care will be centered. Bodies will be tended. Souls nourished.
