The City of Toronto is hosting the 5th annual Toronto Newcomer Day!

As part of the celebrations Dreamwalker Dance Company is offering The Welcome Gesture, a grand scale Public Action.
This gesture is part of The Welcome Project, a movement based community initiative engaging hundreds of participants in interactions and practices that embody Canadian values including: celebration of diversity, mutual respect, and freedom of self-expression.
All are invited to participate in The Welcome Gesture at 12:15 p.m. to mark the opening of the formal stage program. Welcome Project Ambassadors will be at Nathan Phillips Square on May 16th to provide additional information about the activity.
