The Welcome Project
A project for newcomers to Canada where participants of all ages can feel safe as they cultivate awareness of their bodies and their physical gestures, with the goal of inviting trust and authentic connections to form between diverse individuals.
For the past 7 months, Dreamwalker has been leading workshops designed to offer
participants an embodied experience of core Canadian values, such as: kindness, mutual respect, reciprocity and belonging.
On Thursday May 16th at 12:15pm, hundreds of workshop participants will gather at Nathan Phillips Square to ‘perform’ a 7-minute positive Public Action, #TheWelcomeGesture.
