“One thing that happened to me when I was singing this song, I kept getting goose bumps, I kept getting chills.  It’s amazing that I can sing for this many years and still get goose bumps from something that I do so often.  It doesn’t happen all the time and I don’t even know why it happens but I’m grateful for it, and I feel like, in this time (of global pandemic), to be able to sing this and to focus on this project, and (now) to think of you being involved, feels like a healing thing.  This is the kind of thing that helps me get through the mud when I get stuck.  And it gives me hope and a purpose and energy.  Energy to put towards my child or to making dinner or cleaning the bathroom or all the things that I do every day that drain me sometimes.  Doing this kind of a project and singing and being close to this energy helps to push me forward.  And I’m so grateful that I have something to help me.  And maybe someone else who listens to this or watches this can feel helped or supported or pushed forward or (simply) given an opportunity to be still.”
