Vancouverites, save the date! This autumn, west coast residents are invited to experience Nostalgia, an evening of pioneering performance, culture and cuisine celebrating the history and future of Vancouver’s Chinese community and the Downtown Eastside on October 22, 2012, beginning at 6 pm.
A fundraiser in support of Dreamwalker Dance Company’s multi-faceted activities in performance, creation, and community engagement, Nostalgia opens with a dinner/reception at Foo’s HoHo Restaurant (102 East Pender Street), and culminates in an exclusive performance by Dreamwalker’s Andrea Nann and Brendan Wyatt in choreography by D.A Hoskins, Sarah Chase and Nann/Wyatt at Vancouver’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, Simon Fraser University, 149 West Hastings Street. Tickets are $100 per person, including $25 dinner and a $75 tax receipt. Limited seats are available and can be reserved via RSVP at dreamwalkerdance@gmail.com.
